The Devon Post Area

Please post the your entries in your WordPress/SoundCloud accounts first as you would a regular assignment. Then post your “Daily Meds” entry (Word Form) under this section along with you SoundCloud link (under the “Daily Meds” section the recording applies to) of your recording assignment of the day. Remember this is to be done everyday for the rest of the course.  Each day you will pick a topic/theme from a new page in the “Daily Meds” to create, record and write on. You will turn-in two daily assignments to this “Daily Med Blog” (Personal WordPress blog and Soundcloud recording) in one post under the “Students Designated Post Area” .     creative experiment talking it out

    i tried explaining to a band member that his vocal pitch and flow was off and he told me that he couldn’t understand my perspective on the matter so i told him he need to project his voice more into the mic so it could over power the sound of instrument and he understood what i was talking about and then he nodded and understood what i was talking about and continued on with our song.

    daily dose: contribute

    what this meant to me was everyone has their own creative ideas that may or may not conflict with your but you must or must not find a way to incorperate that into the song or plan otherwise what am i in a band for just to make music no im in it to cooperate with my fellow band members to inspire me and other to move on to better things.

    i understand that what i do make a change in my music life and others music live because we love what we do and i will never stop contributing to the music comunity.

    feeling tired and moody

    this song has a very up beat motive and wakes you up with the medium voice pitch

    he sing a a very high key during the beginning the he sings at a medium key throughout the song and then he sings at a high pitch during the choruses

    its about him being in jail and getting out of jail

    after the song i feel awake and moving.

    creative experiment: take a risk

    a risk that i took was fearing that i could not sing but in reality i took a risk and sung for my friends and family and they said i was really great and that i should try to pursue being a vocal artist as a career.

    daily dose: cultivation through music

    what this mean to me that no matter what comes your way if you have a dream you have to pursue it even it puts you through hurricane of trials you have to fight through that hurricane and you will be rewarded for all your hard work at the end

    i will always remember what i fought hard to achieve and i will remember all the people who supported my dream

    creative experiment : say yes

    i did this today when i was chilling with my friends and the would answer my questions withe yes and for myself i always say yes to my own ideas because i know that one day i will be a big success

    daily dose: progress is perfection

    when i talk to my dad about why he doesn’t listen to dubstep or any or any type of electronically produced music he says i wasnt in his time because he i too into rock but i keep telling him that new tools are being invented everyday to produce music i guess some people are just stuck in the past and wont move on to the future.

    today i was focusing on playing call of duty but in the game my team was getting beat really badly but and the end we lost by 20 kill i guess i was just determined to seer the rest of the game through instead of quitting.

    creative experiment : hop in the shower

    all my good lyrics usually happen while im in the shower plus it helps that there is no one around to critics what i am writing down or anything else.

    at sometimes in my life i viewed everything i did as a competition but as i look back i realize that i was dumb for thinking that i was the best at everything now i realize that there will always be someone that will be bigger faster stronger richer than you but that shouldn’t affect how you or anyone should see your self you just have to focus at what your good at and that what matters

    i will always remember that days when my mom bout me my first mic and i got my first guitar because that day was the day i realized that i wanted to do something in music that day i realized that i wanted to be a vocal artist

    creative experiment: fitting the box

    i feel that my beat would be trapped in that box because i don’t really expand my horizon from the outer shell of the box.

    daily dose: i felt that music brought me love once and i was a very long lasting relationship i was at a party and a girl walked up to me and said do u know who the artist or band that plays this song and i said it is me it wrote and sing this song and she said i was very talented and that i should call her sometime and we date for two years and that was it.

    i witness how happy my freinds and family and how happy they are in the relationships and its makes me sad

    when i dance i get the feeling that i would create a new dance move just going on and on with my moves.

    i always hoped that i could make a chang in the world with my music but i aways try to look beyond the horizon and always looking forward and never back when your in a band you have to listin to other oppinions and hope for the best because you never know that it could be a hit or not.

    i always go to church n stuff just to keep up with the religon but it keeps things moving
